Tony Acero

What can one say about him....I've got it! Let's start with a shameless plug! I'm currently in the process of writing what I hope will be a stellar novel. I've got approximately 80 pages of manuscript chilling with a rock on it, and am adding pages to it periodically. I hope to get it published either by nefarious means or otherwise. I'm also working on a collection of short stories to be released with or after my first novel. It's an endeavor I've been working on for a few months and plan and being complete by the end of the year.

*Shameless plug over*

As for me personally, I think I want to continue down a writer's path in hopes that I can do something with it. My favorite authors vary but one cannot deny my love for Stephen King. It may seem a bit of a "go-to" answer, but regardless of where I stretch my realm of books (and they've stretched...from classics to crap.....Twilight I'm looking at you, you retched excuse for a book), I always return back to King. I've read everything he's had to offer, repeatedly and will continue to do so.

Mountain Dew, Stephen King and excessively sarcastic humor. That's me in a nutshell.

Isabel Javier, Secretary (Fall 2010)

Hey all! As secretary, I will do my best to involve everyone in any club-related activities and discussions, but I'll probably subject the word "awesome" to more abuse than the Wife of Bath while I'm at it. Since I joined the EM&MC last semester, I have been lucky enough to meet many fine and sassy folk who have a combined love of English, art, and off-color jokes. With any luck, I'll be meeting many more- I look forward to seeing you in club, in class, or both!

-Currently taking Eng3 (Argument), Eng43A (Shakespeare), and Eng46 (Brit Lit I)
-Interests include fantasy, science fiction, mythology (particularly Greco-Roman), anime/manga, and World of Warcraft.
