Hello,
My nick name is Lani. This semester, I am the senate representative for the English Majors and Minors Club! It's a position that requires a bit of work and I'm happy to do it since I am learning how to work and communicate in a productive group. Ha ha, as opposed to all those in class group projects.
As for my personal life, I'm a bit of a transplant. I was born in Bellflower, CA, lived in Long Beach 'till I was seven, moved to Montana with family and moved solo back to Long Beach at age nineteen. This accounts for some of the topics in my poetry and a bit of the pointed query of different people and locations that appears in my personal writing.
All of my future plans are coming up fairly shortly! I just applied to Humboldt State University and am waiting for their reply. If accepted (please, please, please!) I'll be making a six hundred mile migration to northern California via U-Haul (or possibly Budget)!
Any further planning is so far in the future that it might create tiny explosions between my ears. Yes, that would create extra space, but would be a bit unpleasant.
